Lafayette Gun Club
Lafayette Gun Club of Virginia Inc. was founded
in 1948 as a private gun club and incorporated in the
state of Virginia in 1949
The club was established to encourage organized firearms
shooting and to develop individual marksmanship skills,
with a view toward better knowledge in the safe handling
and proper care of firearms.
LGC fosters the development of patriotism, honesty,
good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, self-reliance
and personal responsibility.

Facility
The Lafayette Gun Club is situated on 28 acres of lakefront
property 0.6 miles east of U.S. Route 17 at 331 Dare Road
in Yorktown, Virginia.
